Knitted wire names

Description

Discover our handcrafted personalised knitted wire names – the perfect addition to baby nurseries and kids’ rooms. A delightful gift for new arrivals, christenings, and birthdays. These whimsical creations add a touch of charm and warmth into spaces, and make for cherished keepsakes.

Our knitted wire names are crafted with a personal touch, using aluminum wire and hand-knitted i-cord. Each letter is meticulously shaped by hand, creating a sturdy foundation with lightweight aluminum. The i-cord then weaves around the letters, adding a soft and tactile layer. This unique combination results in a charming, durable piece that brings a handmade warmth to every name.

Colours:

The knitted wire names are available in a beautiful range of colours – reference photos from the manufacturers website will show you the exact colours I use. Where possible you can see the colours in real life examples of my work – these pictures are regularly added to the listing but if you’d like to see a specific colour please do get in touch.

Sizing:

Length will vary depending on how many letters you chose. Capital letters are approximately 14cm in height, lowercase letters are approximately 8cm in height. Please get in touch if you’d like your name to be bigger or smaller than this!

To hang:

Each name is sturdy yet lightweight and can be hung using command hooks or drawing pins for a floating effect. Your order will include extra yarn in the same colour which you can use to hang your sign if you prefer, or you can even display it propped on a shelf or bookcase.

This is a decorative item (not a toy) and should be kept out of reach of children! If hanging above a cot then please, for safety reasons, make sure that your child can’t reach the sign.

Returns:

As this is a custom made item, it is not eligible for return, therefore it is important you read all the information carefully. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to message me for help!
